John’s Obituary John David Johannes age 66 of Swartz Creek, MI died February 1, 2019. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. John was joined in marriage to Dawn Gail McBride August 17, 1974 in Flint, MI.

John retired from Signature Ford in June 2017, was a member of the NRA-High Power Marksman, Expert and Sharpshooter, a range safety officer, Civilian Marksmanship Program, M1’s for Vets, Linden sportsman Club and he enjoyed gardening, preserving and sharing the bounty. John is survived by his wife Dawn, Siblings Thomas (April) Johannes of Caseville, MI, Mary Margaret White of Flint, MI, Jeanne Marie Johns of Clio, MI, Mark (Pat) Johannes of Silver City, NM, sister-in-law Ann Johannes of Gilbert, AZ, in-laws Denise Reinwasser of Swartz Creek, MI, Tracy (Chuck) Detweiler of Durand, MI, Doug (Diana) McBride of Clio, MI, countless nieces and nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Belle Rose Johannes and brother William Johannes.
