Obituary for John David Riley Print John David Riley, 69 John David Riley, 69 of Ashland passed away Wednesday morning, February 20, 2019 in the Good Shepherd Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on April 16, 1949 in Ashland, the son of the late Allen H. and Louise E. (nee Lutz) Riley. John graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1968.

Following high school, he proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He is survived by one daughter, Heather Elizabeth Gonzalez of Woodland Hill California; three grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas (Sue) Riley of Westerville. John is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Abel officiating. Interment will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
