Obituary for John F. Ferrari Sr John F. Ferrari, Sr., 85 A resident of Media formerly of Clifton Heights passed away on September 27, 2018. Mr. Ferrari was born in West Chester to the late Pete and Mary Ferrari and was a graduate of Clifton Heights High School. John was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War.

John was a retired paving contractor and a Charter Member and Past President of the Clifton Heights Boys Club. He loved his dogs and enjoyed the outdoors and maintaining his yard which was adjacent to Ridley Creek State Park. Predeceased by his brother Pete Ferrari.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Kay (Retsel) Ferrari; children, John F. Ferrari, Jr., Annette Scott, and James (Susan) Ferrari; grandchildren, John III, Celene, Julia, Gary, Laura, James Jr. and Nicholas; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Salvatore “Savy” (Mary) Ferrari and Joseph (Joan) Ferrari; sister in law, Anne Ferrari. Funeral Services and Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Clifton Heights Boys Club PO Box 18 Clifton Heights, PA 19018.
