Obituary for John F. Fowler John F. Fowler died at home in Washington, VA on Sunday, June 17, 2018. He was born in Washington, DC on February 9, 1939 to the late Roy Lee and Mary Beale Fowler. He was a very proud U.S. Army veteran; was co-partner of several service stations in DC and MD, and prior to his retirement, he owned a window cleaning business.

He is survived by his wife, Doris, the love of his life; a brother, Roland Fowler; a special nephew, Russell L. Poe, Jr.; a dear friend, Joseph Wenk; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Lee Fowler, Jr.; two sisters, Nellie Musolino and Mary Etta Wilbur; and Linda Hersch, who was his Goddaughter. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery, PO Box 108, Amissville, VA 20106 or to a local fire department.
