John’s Obituary John Foster Cashin, 83, of 202 Willeyton Road, Gates, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2019, in VCU Health Systems, Richmond, Virginia. Mr. Cashin was born in Wappingers Falls, New York on November 12, 1935, and was the son of the late Gerald and Eleanor Bogardus Cashin. A retired warehouse manager with IBM, he was a member of the Elks Lodge and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, both in Wappingers Falls.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Cashin, in November of 2018, and by a grandson, Bryan Perfetto in January of 2002. Surviving are his wife, Doris Robinson Cashin; his daughter, Denise Perfetto and husband, Joseph, of Gates; his daughter-in-law, Valerie Cashin of Savannah, GA; three grandchildren, Heather Craft, Kyle Perfetto, and Katie Perfetto; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 9th, at 6 p.m. in Kittrell’s United Methodist Church and will be conducted by Pastor Casey Estler.
