John G. Sprenger, 73 of Estero, FL passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at his residence. Formerly of Appleton, WI and Eden Prairie, MN he became a resident of Miromar Lakes, FL in 2006 before recently relocating to Estero. John was born September 18, 1945 in Sheboygan, WI a son of the late Arno and Rose (Boeldt) Sprenger.

He was a graduate of Oshkosh University before his career as a stockbroker. Mr. Sprenger never met anyone he didn’t like and was loved by many. Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Therese “Terrie” (Probst) Sprenger; loving children, Timothy (Rachel) Sprenger of Elko, MN, Tammie (Ricardo) Herrera of Owensboro, KY, Tricia (Mike) Sprengeler of Lakeville, MN, and Ashley (Arnaldo) Morales of Fort Myers, FL; brothers, Jerome (Barbara) Sprenger of Appleton, WI and Alan (Kathy) Sprenger of Appleton, WI; and 13 cherished grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Light Catholic Community, 19680 Cypress View Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33967. Arrangements are being handled by www. ShikanyFuneralHome.com.
