John Gary Allen January 16, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook John “Gary” Allen, age 79, of Hilliard, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Born in Columbus on July 12, 1939 he was a graduate of Columbus Linden-McKinley High School, Class of 1957 and The Ohio State University. Gary was a former principal with Columbus Public Schools and later was employed with Huntington National Bank.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Etta Allen, his brother Greg Allen and his sister Annetta Yates. Gary is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn Kight Allen, his brother Michael (Barbara) Allen, many nieces and nephews, and a loving family of friends. A Family Gathering will be held to celebrate Gary’s life with burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
