Westfield-John H. Gamache, 85, died Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Noble Hospital. He was born in Holyoke on July 15, 1932 to the late Henry and Vera (Woodard) Gamache. He attended St. Mary’s and Westfield Schools.

He worked at Marcoullier Lumber Yard for 12 years. John also worked at Stan Home Products for several years and for 17 years as a locksmith at Westfield State College and retired in 1997. He enjoyed airshows, visiting Lake George and Cape Cod.

He leaves his wife of 16 years Judith (Clowes) Gamache, his son Michael Gamache and his wife Laura of Chicopee, his daughter Laurie Messier of Westfield, his grandchildren Heather, Amanda, Allen and John Gamache, Joanne Seymour , Bill Messier and his sister Theresa Garcia of Westfield. John was pre-deceased by his son John Gamache, and his siblings William, Charles, Henry, Ellen, Joan and Beverly. The funeral and burial will be private.
