John Harry Morris, 76, of Summerville, husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Morris, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Trident Medical Center. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 10 o’clock to 11 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11 o’clock.

Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Ave. , North Charleston, SC 29406. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 5300 Rivers Ave #2, Charleston, SC 29406.

John was born on April 6, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Harry and Julia Morris. He served in the US Navy for 4 years. Survivors in addition to his wife Betty are: three children: Laura Ann Burrows of Summerville, Edward James Morris (Erin) of Baltimore, MD and Kara Ranee Morris (Mike Braunschweiger) of Ladson, SC; nine grandchildren: Nicholas, Mellissa (Gabe), Kevin, Zachary, Kayla, Alyssa, Noah, Olivia, Avery; two great grandchildren: Kelsey and Bentley.

He was predeceased by one brother: Charles Austin Morris. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www. jamesadyal.com.
