John’s Obituary “John Henry Nealy, Sr., at the age of 92, was called home to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was born in Lamison, Alabama on April 4, 1926, to the union of Simon Nealy and Charity Perkins Nealy. He also was reared by a loving step-father, Charlie Robinson.

He moved with his family, while he was still young, to Mobile, AL. He was the beloved husband of the late Audrey Dixon Nealy. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, step-father, son, John H. Nealy, Jr.; his three brothers Willie James, Ben, and Robert Lee; son-in-law, Gregory Morris; grandson, Demond Thomas; granddaughters Mary Nealy and Megan Hamilton.

John is survived by five daughters, Sonja Saizan, Tydell Whitfield (Joseph) of New Orleans; Elizabeth Nealy, Gina Morris of Houston TX; and Deirdre Nealy-Hamilton of Mobile, AL and a host of great and great, great grandchildren, numerous cousins and friends”.
