John J. Gannon, 75, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Staten Island University Hospital South in Staten Island, New York. He was the beloved husband to the late Lorraine, who passed away in 2007. Loving father of Edward Thomas, John J., Jr., James Patrick, Patrick Michael and Andrew T. Dear brother of Janine.

Devoted grandfather of Nicholas, Arielle, Alexa, Savannah and E.J. The family will receive friends from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019, and from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 at St. Clare Church, 110 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island.
