John J Rotto Sr. April 03, 1943 – January 13, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card John Joseph Rotto Jr., 75, of Allegheny Twp. died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the Emergency Room of Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born in Alamo, Texas on April 3, 1943 to the late John J. and Hazel R. Hummel Rotto Sr. and had resided in the local area since 2006.

He had previously resided in Lower Burrell and Murrysville. John was an assembly technician for Westinghouse in O’Hara Twp. and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

An excellent woodcarver, he enjoyed poker, casinos, eating out, bingo and was disabled the past twenty-three years. He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years Karen Ruth Van Horn Rotto; children: Renae’(Timothy) Starr, Mount Pleasant, son John E. Rotto Sr. (Mickey Donner) North Apollo, step-daughter Lisa (John) Tressler, Allegheny Twp; grandchildren: Joseph Theis, Ryan Menhart, Brandi Menhart, John E. Rotto Jr, Brittany and Brandon Fleeger, and several great-grandchildren; siblings: Sandy L. Morrow New Kensington, Darlene M. (Gene) Abruzre and Richard A. Rotto both of Lower Burrell and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder Street Lower Burrell where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 AM.

Burial with Military Honors by the Vandergrift Honor Guard will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. www. RusiewiczFH.com.
