John “JB” Bishop, age 59, a resident of the Eagle River Area since 1981, passed away on Friday November 30, 2018 at Eagle River Memorial Hospital. John was born in Grand Rapids, MN on August 5, 1959 to Joe and Dolly Bishop. He was very active in the Eagle River Hockey Program, Whitetails Inc., and Ducks Unlimited.

He was preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his better half: Beverly Fisher of Eagle River, WI; daughters: Lisa Bishop of Eagle River, WI and Rachele (A.J.) Johnson… Read More » of Wausau, WI; sons: Jason “Buck” (Corrie) Bishop of Charleston SC and Johnny (April) Bishop of Eagle River, WI; brother: Larry (Cindy) Bishop of Grand Rapids, MN and Linda (Herb) Washburn of Grand Rapids, MN; grandchildren: Brady, Ava, Riley, Jakob and Sieara; and his furry friends: Jax and Lilly. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday December 8, 2018 at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, WI.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
