John Joseph Piaggio Jr., age 56, passed away at his Columbus residence on March 26, 2019. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. John was an avid griller and would BBQ all year long.

He grew up in Florida and continued to love the beach, fishing, dolphins and gators. John was known to enjoy a cold Budweiser and enjoyed throwing frisbee and playing soccer. Survived by children: Janina Piaggio (David), Christina Piaggio and John Joseph Piaggio II; grandchildren: Kaiden, Alex, Bentley, Isaiah, Amelia and Amiah; girlfriend, Tina and her daughter, Lacy; special nephew, Chuck ton; friend and mother of his children, Rebecca Lester; long time friend, Gregory Beam; stepchildren: Jessica, Jesse, Roxanne, Brittany and Kelly Hall; numerous other family and friends.
