Obituary for John McLaughlin John McLaughlin, 74, of Erie, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. He was born in Erie, on October 18, 1944, the son of the late George C. and Dorothy Grumblatt McLaughlin. John was a past member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.

He attended the Lakeside Senior Center and was a part of the Friendship Ministries at Trinity United Methodist Church. John was a lifelong Cleveland Brown’s fan and enjoyed arts & crafts and feeding the birds. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim McLaughlin.

Survivors include his brother, George McLaughlin and his wife Sue, of North Ridgeville, OH,; many nieces and nephews; and his friends and staff from Supportive Living Services. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd, on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral service there at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery.
