John Melvin Crabtree of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Lewis Asher and Alice (Merryman) Crabtree on October 22, 1924 in Mangum, Oklahoma and passed from this life on April 10, 2019 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years. John met the love of his life, Betty Somers, and they were married on January 23, 1947. They shared 72 wonderful years together until her death on April 7, 2019.

John and Betty were always together, depending on each other. Together in Love, together in death. Mr. Crabtree is survived by: Son: Roger Crabtree and wife Patsy of Ft.

Walton Beach, Florida Daughter: Linda Barton and husband Richard of Plano, Texas 2 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren Mr. Crabtree was preceded in death by: Parents: Lewis and Alice Crabtree Wife: Betty Crabtree Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Rev. Tim Duncan officiating. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
