John Meyer, of Sayler Park, passed away on February 9, 2019 at the age of 32. He grew up in Sayler Park and attended St. Al’s on the Ohio school and Elder High School. John was the loving son of Jackie and little “BIG” brother of Kimberly and Jennifer.

John and Lori Ritter were planned to be married on July 18, 2019. He was an amazing uncle to three nephews, one niece and seven future nieces and nephews. John adored his loyal furry “dude” Windsor.

He played football at Elder and created many lifelong friendships. John enjoyed any sports that allowed his friends to get together and have a few beers. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was the biggest jokester making everyone laugh.

John had an amazing heart and would do anything for anyone. He worked for Ken Neyer Plumbing for 10 years. Those left to cherish his memory are his mom: Jackie Nickoson Harrison; Sisters: Kimberly (Brad) Baker, Jennifer (Matt) Clausing; nephews & niece: Ryan & Emily Baker, Nolan & Jack Clausing; his fiance’: Lori Ritter; Lori’s parents: Frank & Jeanne Ritter; Lori’s sisters: Melissa (Ryan) Dietrich, Sherri (Zack) Peretzky; and Lori’s nieces & nephews: Jack, Gus, Pete, Lucy, Max, Ellie,& Arlo.

Survivors also include his Dog: Windsor; aunt & uncle in laws: Bill Ritter & Denise Meyer; cousins: Katie & Billy Ritter, Heather McKinney, Monica McNabb and Greg Meyer and his MANY amazing friends that were also family. John was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bill & Marian Nickoson, John “Jack” & Rosemary Meyer; Aunt Billie Jean Ritter; Uncle Greg Meyer. Visitation will be on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave, Sayler Park, OH 45233.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at St. Simons Catholic Church. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Old Catholic Cemetery. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of John Meyer please visit our Sympathy Store.
