John Michael Ball, Jr. age 65, of Rome passed away Monday February 25, in a local hospital. John was born December 2, 1953, Floyd County, a son of Martha McDaniel Ball, and the John Michael Ball, Sr He was retired from VT industries.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Crowder. Survivors include his daughters, Desiree’ (Jon) Ball, Rome; Amber (Rod) Baker, Armuchee; mother, Martha McDaniel Ball, Rome; brother, James (Donna) Ball, Dallas, TX; sisters, Kathy (Michael) Bennett, Rome; Teresa (Mark) Hess, Sharpsburg, GA; Debra (Rodney) Blanks, Rome; 6 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. March 1, 2019 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev.

Tony Black, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 12:00 P.m. until the hour of service on Friday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave.
