JOHN PAUL KRESSE, JR. of Olmsted Falls, Ohio and Pine Island, Florida passed away on February 15th, two days after his 83rd birthday. He was the beloved husband of Margaret “Peg” (nee Bostwick) for 57 years.

Loving father to John (Debbie), Jill Gheen (Michael) and Lynne White (Ron). Proud grandfather of Larry, Erin and Jack Kresse, Russell and Cameron Rogers and Connor and Alister White. Brother of Marianne McMichael (Lester), Patricia Densmore (Chuck) and Robert Kresse (Betty).

Uncle to seven nieces and nephews and friends to many including his Bedford High classmates. John graduated from Ohio University and Case Western Reserve. He was passionate about golfing, gardening and spending summers in the family cottage on Long Lake, in Northern Ontario.

For 22 years he enjoyed being a snowbird on Pine Island, Florida. Friends and family may call at BAKER-OSINSKI-KENSINGER FUNERAL HOME, 206 FRONT STREET, BEREA, OHIO, SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 17 FROM 3:00 to 7:00PM. A celebration of life service will be held at Heritage Congregational Church, 485 West Street, Berea, Ohio, Monday, February 18 at 10:00 am.

Private internment at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Olmsted Falls, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heritage Congregational Church or Ohio University Foundation, Baseball Program, Convocation Center, Suite S-126, Athens , Ohio, 43701.
