He was born on April 26, 1950 to Earl and Martha (nee Sifter) Keller. John is survived by his financee, Ann Breitkreutz; children, Jason (Amy), Scott (Heather) and Kristi (Mamar) Pennenberg; 8 grandchildren; sisters, Margarita (Bill) Richardson, Jeanie (Ron) Erstad, Rose “Susie” Keller and his brother, Terry.
