Entwistle John W. “Jack”, 75, of Plum, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born March 21, 1943, in Spangler, PA, Jack was the son of the late J. William and Ruth Ann (Miller) Entwistle, Sr He retired from IBM after 40 years of service as a field engineer.

Jack enjoyed gardening, traveling, hunting, and shooting trap. Survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Joanne M. (Zaremba) Entwistle; sons, David J. (Tammy) Entwistle, Kenneth J. (Nancy) Entwistle, daughters, Kathy S. (Andrew) VanOrd, and Tina M. (David) Phillips; grandchildren, Logan Phillips and Lily VanOrd; sister, Deborah (Brian) Chermak; four nephews, and a niece. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Ann Sommers.

Friends will be received Monday, from 10 am until the time of service at 12 noon, at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) corner of Beatty Rd. & 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747) Interment to follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
