Obituary for John Wayne “Johnny” Mike, Sr. John Wayne “Johnny” Mike, Sr. peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the age of 69. Beloved and loving husband of 15 years to Patricia “Tricia” Abadie Mike. Loving son of Thelma Mike Twilbeck and the late Anthony Joseph Mike.

Step son of the late Calvin Twilbek. Father of John Wayne Mike, Jr. Step father of Amanda Sampey (Jerome Garbutt), Victor Abadie, Dane Rome, Jr. (Robin) and Patty LeCompte (Perry). Loving Grandfather of Amber (Chris), Heather (James), Desiree’, Brooke, Destynee, Logan and Ada.

Loving brother of Joseph Mike (Ester), Alice Guillot, Norma Uluduz (Keramettin), Tonilyn Chiasson (Gilbert) and Anna Dillard (Alan Boudreaux). Brother-in-law of Robert, Roland, Patrick, Adam (Candice) Abadie and the late Norris Guillott and Thomas Dillard. Step Brother of Dwayne (Melissa) and Ralph (Bernie) Twilbeck.

He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Johnny is also preceded in death by Madelyn Guidry by first marriage and the late Shirley Sevin Mike by second marriage. John was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in Kosmos Lodge #171 on September 21, 2006.

He honorably served as the Junior Deacon and Tyler. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 16, 2018 beginning at 2PM.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 6PM. Visitation will resume after services until 8PM. Interment will be privately held at a later date.
