Obituary for Shirley Gomez Breaux Shirley Gomez Breaux passed away peacefully on June 2, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Alvin P. Breaux. She was a loving and devoted mother to her sons, Mike Paul Breaux (Lori) and Rickey Joseph Breaux (Amy), grandmother to Ashleigh Breaux Garcia (Anthony), Timothy Breaux, Tayler Breaux and Jordan Harvey and great-grandmother of Blaize Garcia.

Sister of the late William, Clement, Stanley, Wallace and Beauford Gomez. Daughter of the late William Paul Gomez and Louise Richardson Gomez. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

Shirley worked at Trosclair’s Costumes for 25 years along with Gomez’s Bar and Breaux’s Jewelers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www. stjude.org).

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero, LA on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel.
