Obituary for John M. Williams Print John M. Williams, 85, of Cheyenne passed away February 20, 2019 at Lifecare Center. He was born January 21, 1934 in Casey, Iowa to Wayne and Dorothea Williams. He married Marilyn Atkinson on May 14, 1960 in Cheyenne.

He was retired from the Wyoming Department of Transportation, and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He was raised in a farm family in Iowa and enjoyed watching football, going to the health club, and taking care of his beautiful lawn. He was a very social person and would talk to anybody, anywhere and could visit for hours.

His family was the most important thing in his life. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Williams of Cheyenne; children, David Williams of Cheyenne, Joe (Tracy) Williams of Cheyenne and Jeannette Williams of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Eric, Amanda, Jordan, Kaleigh, Bobbi and Autumn and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, and a brother, Jim Williams.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2nd, at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with interment in Olivet Cemetery.
