Obituary for Mary L. (Snedaker) Loudon Print Mary L. Snedaker-Loudon, 89, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019. Mary was born on January 6, 1930 in Ft. Collins, Colorado, a daughter of the late James R. and Mabel V. (Wilson) Snedaker.

Mary moved with her family to Cheyenne in 1934. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1952. She married Phillip Loudon on February 14, 1987.

Her passion was teaching third grade students in Cheyenne for 38 years. She was active in the Wyoming State Teacher’s Association, Wyoming Education Association, National Education Association, and Gideons International. Mary is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and brothers, Lorence, Bill and Jack.

She is survived by her stepson, Larry Loudon (Carol); brother-in-law, Ted Loudon (Jeanne); sister-in-law, Annette Snedaker, numerous nieces and nephews; and her friend, Major Dorr. A private interment will be held in Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Gideons International, 2709 Bent Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
