Pageland, SC Mr. John Wilson “Buck” Knight, Sr., age 85, entered into rest Friday, January 18, 2019. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 21, 2019 at Providence Baptist Church by Reverend Dr. Roger Wall with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Monday, prior to the service in the sanctuary of Providence Baptist Church.

Mr. Knight was born July 11, 1933 in Pageland, SC a son of the late Woodrow “Bill” Wilson and Edith Watts Knight. He was the retired owner and operator of H & K Interiors. A member of Providence Baptist Church, John was a former Deacon and served as Chairman of the Deacons.

He was also a member and past master of the Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge #58. Mr. Knight enjoyed fishing and had a special love of Corvettes.

John will be remembered as a loving family man who always made sure he took care of his family. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Billie Jean Hancock Knight; a brother, Billy Knight; and a sister Bobbie K. Rivers. Survivors include his Sons; Dale (Virginia) Knight and Johnny (Shelia) Knight both of Pageland; Grandchildren; Lori (Mark) Turner, Ashley (Ashli) Young, John (Aya) Knight III, Jennifer (Tommy) Troskoski; Great-Grandchildren; Kyle Price, Sarah Turner, and Hannah Turner; Brother; Charles (Joanne) Knight of Pageland, SC; Sisters; Sylvia Rogers of Hickory, NC and Nancy Carelock of Pageland, SC.
