John Andrew Schultz passed away on November 1, 2018 in Abington, MA, at the age of 55. He was born November 22, 1962 and grew up in Springfield, VA. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Barbara (Curley) Schultz, and his beloved phantom poodle Riggo.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Vallee) Schultz, son Chris (Taylor) Schultz of Montreal, Canada, brother Doug Schultz of Warrenton, VA, sister Kath (Bob) Norton of Diamond Head, MS, sister Mary (Rob) Chambers of Wichita, KS, niece Lindsey Chambers of Monument, CO, and extended family & lifelong friends. He graduated from West Springfield high school in 1981 and worked for years in the print industry before retiring to take care of his treasured dogs. John was a lifelong Washington Redskins fan and after moving to Boston five years ago, grew to love the Red Sox and Patriots.

Along with sports, he had a deep passion for history and politics. He loved to travel and vacation with loved ones, especially on the Outer Banks. John will be remembered for his sarcastic sense of humor and his unfiltered opinion on all world affairs.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 3PM at Moser Funeral Home 233 Broadview Ave Warrenton, VA. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Outer Banks Preservation Association, www. obpa.org/index.
