Obituary for Johnella “Big Granny” Richardson RICHARDSON, Mrs. Johnella “Big Granny” – age 83, passed away, Sunday, April 8, 2018 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Oakland. Family hour 10:30AM Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from Powerhouse Christian Center at First Presbyterian Church, 99 Wayne St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00 AM. Bishop Frederick Barr, Officiating.

Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 AM Wednesday. Ms. Richardson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday. Ms. Richardson leaves to cherish her memory: children, Toni Brown, Risea (Wardell) Robertson, Vickie (Dwayne) Luster and Shellie Hollins; stepson, Michael Hardiman; a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Bates and Albert (Pauline) Ray; and other relatives and friends.

Ms. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband, John Richardson; son, Warren Hollins and parents, Goldie Nichols and John W. Beck and sister.
