WILLIAMS, SR. —Mr. John Everette Williams, Sr., age 75 of Middleburg, FL passed away September 17, 2018. John was born in Savannah, GA on February 10, 1943.

As a young man, he met and married his loving wife of 58 years, Elaine Dupree Williams. Together they had 3 sons, John E. Williams, Jr. (Dee), Christopher A. Williams (Jeanne), and James L. Williams (Amber). John retired from the Teamsters Union following over 30 years of dedicated service.

He is remembered for his love of fishing and the outdoors, his dedication to his family, trips to Biloxi, MS with his wife Elaine, and how he enjoyed a cold beer. Surviving in addition to his sons and their wives are 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. John was predeceased by Elaine in 2016.

Funeral services in celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday September 22, 2018 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens. Family members and friends will gather immediately prior to the service. John will be laid to rest with Elaine in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
