John K. deFrancesco, a College Professor of languages, passed away Wednesday February 13, 2019. Born July 26, 1932 in Philadelphia to Anna Giove and Giovanni de Francesco. Growing up in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia he graduated from St. Donato Grade School, St. Thomas More High School, LaSalle University and earned his Masters Degree from Middlebury College in Vermont.

A Language Professor at Camden Community College for 40 years, previously he had taught at LaSalle and Cabrini Colleges. John was a of the Knights of Columbus, Chapel of the FDour Chaplains, Order of the Sons of Italy and the Abruzzese Club. He also loved to travel and the Theater.

He was predeceased by his sister Mary deFrancesco Pushaw, survived by his brother-in-law Robert Pushaw, Sr., nieces and nephews:Mary Anne Pushaw, Karen Pushaw, Cynthia Reeves (Douglas), Robert J. Pushaw, Jr. (Patricia), Christopher Pushaw. Also survived by 6 grand nieces and grand nephews. Family and friends may call Monday Feb 18, 10 to 10:45 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown.

Int. erment is in St. Denis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Pennsylvanians for Human Life, 590 Snyder Ave, Suite 201, West Chester, Pa.
