Obituary for Johnnie Christeen Williams (Eakins) Print Wilson- Graveside services for Christeen Williams, 84, of Ardmore are scheduled for 2PM, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Rubottom Cemetery with Pastor Jess Howell officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson. Christeen was born January 13, 1935 at Wilson to the late Mr. John Eakins and Mrs. Jessie (Plemons) Eakins.

She departed this life Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Ardmore. Christeen grew up in the Rubottom area and was married to Mr. Alton Wesley Williams on November 19, 1949 at Wilson. She loved dancing, hunting, camping, fishing and making homemade butter.

Christeen really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her Parents; husband; two sons, Louis Sampson Williams in 1953 and Jimmy S Williams in 2018; six sisters; 1 brother; 4 half sisters.

Survivors include sons, Warren Williams and wife Linda of Rubottom, Johnny Williams and wife Sue of Wilson, and Frankie Williams and wife Cheryl of Healdton; daughter-in-law, Anna Williams of Marietta; daughters, Betty Howell and Husband Ricky of Ardmore and Sandy Morriss of Wilson; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; Numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Steven Williams, BJ Williams, Justin Williams, Joey Williams, William Russell, and Debra Cannon. Honorary bearers are Jerime Williams, Larry Williams, Gary Williams, Amanda Stevenson, Rusty Williams, Michael Morriss, Scotty Morriss and Waylon Russell.
