Johnnie Lee Karr Jr., 68 of Shepherdsville passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital with his family by his side. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, a Mason of Local Lodge 586 and a member of the Red Crow.

He enjoyed shooting guns and messing around with knifes. He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie Karr Sr. and Virginia Karr; along with siblings Butch Karr and Joyce Fenwick. Johnnie is survived by his children Harlen Karr (Marsha) of Radcliff, Virginia Turner (Charles) of Campton, KY, Sarah Karr of Louisville and Thomas Karr (Crystal) of Elizabethtown; his siblings Betty Dearhie, Brenda Burba, Berta Ann Benninger, James Karr, Phillis Clemmons, Danny Karr, Debbie Morrow, Helen Karr and Michael Karr; 8 grandchildren Susanna, Susan, Jacob, Christian, Emmett, Angel, Angel and Sonora; 2 great grandchildren Guinevera and Leonardo; 8 nieces and 17 nephews; along with Lydia Karr of Shepherdsville.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitations will be Friday 3-8 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
