Obituary for Johnny Hooks Sr Mr. Johnny Dale Hooks, Sr., 66 of Concord passed away on Thursday October 18, 2018. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home.

Mr. Hooks was born on April 8, 1952 in Stanly County to the late Richard Leo Hooks and Eleanor Thompson Yow. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Nathaniel Hooks. Mr. Hooks is survived by his wife, Rena Helms Hooks, one daughter, Kim Cartrett and husband Berry, four sons, Johnny Dale Hooks, Jr., Ronnie Lee Hooks and wife Mindy, Michael Shane Hooks and wife Ana and Dustin Lee Hooks; along with one sister, two brothers, ten grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.
