Obituary for Johnny Evans Johnny Evans, age 79, of Madisonville, formerly of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Wood Presbyterian Home. Mr. Evans retired from Vestal Manufacturing, in Sweetwater. Preceded in death by his sons: Tony and Curtis Evans, infant daughter, parents: George and Fannie Evans, and a companion: Muriel Edgemon.

Survivors include his step-daughter and son-in-law: Sherry and Rick Lashley, of Madisonville, step- son: Jerry Stakely, of Gilbertsville, KY. , brothers: Robert, Ray, and Jack Evans, sisters: Barbara, Willie, and Frances. Grandchildren: Brittanie, Tiffany, Cody, Jeremy, and Brianne, great-grandchildren: Madison, Lyric, Emily, Blaine, Juliana, Anna, Mason, Anya, and Kiera.

Several nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thanks to the Staff of Wood Presbyterian Home, in Sweetwater, for the care shown to Mr. Evans. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. followed by a 2:00 P.M. graveside service and interment at Reed Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev.
