Johnny Fry, 84, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019. A memorial service is to be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home, formerly, Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St Burnet, Texas 78611. Johnny’s favorite past time was visiting and talking with family, friends and new acquaintances.

He also loved fishing, flintknapping, blacksmithing and motorcycles. He worked for many years as a carpenter and mechanic. Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Gladys (Buck) Fry; brother, Warren Fry; sister, Annie Crump; daughters, Dorothy Fry, Kathy Fry and Diane Fry.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Fry; stepsons; Matthew Schmidt and Mark Kerns; sisters, Audrey Dwyer, Emma (Bitsy) Moran; six grandchildren, many great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements under the care of Jenkins Funeral Home, formerly Edgar Funeral Home, Burnet, Texas.
