Mr. Dykes passed away on May 1, 2019. Bro.

J.R. Hartfield will officiate with burial to follow in the Dykes Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Perry, Joey Terrill, Doug Dykes, Claude Smith, D.J. Walley and Andrew Buckalew. Honorary pallbearers will be Grant Brownlee and Charles Breland.

Brent was preceded in death by his mother, Vanessa Dykes Davis; father, Ben Davis; and grandparents, J.C. and Eithel Dykes. He is survived by his wife, Hope Dykes; sons, Bradley Dykes and Cooper Dykes; daughters, Hannah Dykes and Anniston Dykes; brother, Brady Davis, all of Richton. He attended Dykes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and was a Maintenance Electrician with the Masonite Corporation in Laurel.

Visitation will be Monday, May 6, 2019, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Jones and Son Funeral Home.
