Jorge Alexis Lopez was 52 years old when he passed away Saturday, January 12th. Born and raised in La Lima, Honduras, Jorge received a bachelors degree in business administration from Intae University. He moved to the United States on December 5th, 1984.

Jorge worked as a Longshoreman for many years as a member of the International Longshoremen’s Association 1588. He was a big FIFA fan who loved to travel and spend time with his family. Jorge was predeceased by his mother Santos Lopez in 2016.

He is survived by his father Jorge M. Lopez, his wife Teresa (nee Gutierrez) Lopez, his children Stephanie, Steven, Jason, and Shelsey. Jorge is also survived by his brother Manuel Lopez and his wife Eliana, his brother Geovany Lopez and his wife Hilzy, his sister Roxana Kolshorn and her husband Pete and his sister Suyapa Lopez. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10am in St. Cecilia’s Parish, Englewood.

Burial to follow Brookside Cemetery, Englewood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
