Davila, 90, passed away to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at St. Davis South Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX. Mr. Davila was born February 2, 1929 to Fidel & Maria De La Luz Davila in Crystal City, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Jose Henry Davila; 2 brothers, Polo Davila, Fidel Davila; 1 sister, Margarita Davila.

Mr. Davila is survived by his wife, Carmen Davila of Austin, TX; 3 daughters, Maria De La Luz Davila of Chicago Heights, IL, Joanne Davila of Austin, TX, Carmen Davila of Mannor, TX; 1 son, Candelario Davila of Cannon Lake, TX; 1 brother, Jesus Davila of Weslaco, TX. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N. Texas Ave.
