OBITUARY Jose Gomez, Jr. August 1, 1961 – October 26, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Jose Gomez, Jr., born August 1st, 1961 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away Friday, October 26th, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. He was a great provider, devoted, loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who loved nothing more than being with his wife, children, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He loved to be with everyone all at the same time, the more the better.

He did everything from the bottom of his heart, and told you it was “only ‘cause I love you”. If you were a kid, you had cookies for life. If you needed a car or help with your credit, he had the magic formula.

He was a phenomenal man who impacted the lives of many. He never met a stranger. He wanted to help everybody no matter what.

Whatever you needed, if he could do it he would. The impact he made on our lives will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Gomez Sr., Nylia Gomez and sister Maria Aurora Gomez.

He is survived by his wife Maria Gomez, children: Joseph Zavala and Jose Gomez III, daughter in law: Vanessa Zavala, grandson: David Zavala, granddaughters: Diana and Joana Zavala, sisters: Maria Garcia, Gloria Ramos, Dolores De La Cruz, and Janet Gomez brothers: Reynaldo Gomez and Juan Jose Gomez, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive guests Saturday, November 3rd from 5:00-8:00pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, TX. A celebration of Jose’s life will be held Sunday, November 4th at 3:00pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home.

Immediately following he will be laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery at 4:00pm. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www. ForestParkEast-FHC.com for the Gomez family.
