OBITUARY Jose M Gonzalez January 12, 1959 – January 30, 2019 On Wednesday, January 30, 2019, Jose Martir Gonzalez, father of two children, passed away at the age of sixty. Jose Martir Gonzalez (also known as, Chepe) was born January 12, 1959 in Cacaopera, Morazán, San Salvador, El Salvador to Jose Antonio and Ana Maria Gonzalez. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ana Maria Gonzalez and his father, Jose Antonio Martinez.

He is survived by his two wonderful children; daughter, Mileidy Marisol Gonzalez, and son, Jose A. Gonzalez. He has three loving grandchildren, Richard, Julianna, and Daniel. He proudly served in the Salvadorian military before coming to the United States.

Once he arrived in the United States, he obtained his residency and eventually, his citizenship. He was able to teach himself English while working as a licensed contractor along with a few other businesses as well. In his spare time, he enjoyed bar-b-ques, meeting new people, fishing, working on cars, and the outdoors.

He truly enjoyed being near the ocean along with the church of which he belonged. His family will always remember him as a loving father, friend, and grandfather.
