Obituary for Joseph Bates Mr. Joseph Armand Xavier Bates, age 23, of Fairburn, GA and Leesburg, VA passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Griggs, Sr. and Charles Bates, Sr He is survived by his mother, Angela Provost and her husband, Asante, of Leesburg, VA; father, Charles Bates and his wife, Tomeka Grogan-Bates of Fairburn, GA; sisters, Jasmine Bates, Jenae Bates-Robinson and her husband, Michael, and Aliyah Provost-Johnson; grandparents, Carla and Richard Donaldson, Henry Jackson, Judith Bates; great-grandmother, Geneva Preston; nephews, Caleb, Josiah, Isaiah, Micah and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 2 o’clock at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Kemper Roberson to officiate. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at www. parrottfuneralhome.com.
