Joseph Ben Carter, age 98, of Grenada, MS, formerly of Crossett, AR, passed away at Providence Assisted Living. He was a self-employed clock builder and a member of Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Carter was also a member of the NAWCC-National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Joseph Carter and Annie B. McCoy Carter; his wife, Joan Carter and one daughter. Joseph is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Greco of Geneva, New York; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Graveside services are 2:00PM on Friday, June 01, 2018 at Unity Cemetery in Crossett.
