Mr. Joseph E. Fleming, 73, of Hazel Green, passed away on Tuesday. He was a graduate of Weir High School in Weirton, West Virginia and had retired from the United States Army where he served as Chief Warrant Officer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Dortha Fleming of West Virginia and by his wife, Laura Fleming.

Surviving family members include his sons, Ricky Steele of Hazel Green, Al, Michael Steele of Hazel Green, Al, Aaron, and Drew; His daughter, Meredith Steele Martin of Cowan, Tn; He is also survived by his brother, James A. Fleming of Augusta, Ga, his two sisters, Marlene Fleming of Chester, Wv, and Loretta Hudak of Plantation, Fl, and by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 to 3pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
