Obituary for Mr. Joseph Oliver Bellard Sr Mr. Joseph Oliver Bellard, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Joseph Bellard, Sr., 68, who entered eternal rest, Saturday, December 22, 2018. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park.

Bishop Ronald Brown, Sr. will officiate the services. Mr. Bellard is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irma J. Bellard of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Cara Bellard and Carmen Nimer (Jude) both of Opelousas, LA; a brother, Felton Bellard of Houston, TX; four sisters, Rita Tyler (Amos) of Houston, TX, Mary Smith Moore (Emmanuel) of Houston, TX, Eldine Daniel of Houston, TX and Gloria Dean Williams of Baton Rouge, LA; five grandchildren, Johnny Guidry, III (Shay), Jaleel Guidry, Jalen Nimer, Juwan Nimer and Marlin Ventress and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Bellard was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Bellard, Jr.; parents, Roosevelt Bellard & Lena Castille Bellard; four brothers, Roosevelt Bellard, Jr., John Venton Bellard, John Monroe, Joseph Roy and a sister, Mary Esther Gloud.
