Joseph Roy Hisker, 43, of Greensburg, died Saturday, July 21, 2018 in his family home. He was born September 29, 1974 in Greensburg, a son of Deacon William J. and Vera (Nelson) Hisker, of Greensburg. He was a licensed optician at 3 Guys Optical Center, Pittsburgh.

He was Roman Catholic by faith. Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, William J. Hisker VI; his paternal grandparents, William J. and Mary Jane (Newhouse) Hisker; and his maternal grandparents, Roy and Rita (Gregg) Nelson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Wynter Rose Hisker, of Greensburg; his sister, Jennifer Hedden and husband Joseph, and their children, Miriam and Elizabeth, all of Murrysville; his partner, Monica (Mulcahy) Rebar, of Greensburg; two step-sons, Seth and Calvin Rebar; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday and Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Wednesday in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg.
