Joseph T. Suarez, 70, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at home. He was born August 27, 1948 in Charleroli, a son of the late Joseph and Lyda Belle (Clark) Suarez. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by Conway Central Express as a tractor trailer operator for more than 40 years.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg, a life member of the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Hose Company #6, Pennsylvania State Firemen’s Association, Western Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association, and the Greensburg Firemen’s Museum Committee. He is survived by his wife, Candace L. (Tedrow) Suarez,;his daughters, Kimberly J. Suarez, of Greensburg, Kelly J. Sekerchak and husband Ronald, of New Stanton, and Karie J. Suarez-Brill and husband Jason, of Follansbee, WV; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Darren, Karlee, Reese, Carter, Carmen and Mya. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC.

, 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the funeral home with the Rev. Anette V. Gerber officating.

Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department P.O. Box 924 Greensburg, PA, 15601. The Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department will hold a memorial service Friday at 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
