Ricarda H. King, 77, of Unity Township, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. She was born October 27, 1940 in Bloomfield, a daughter of the late Aloysius Richard “Lou” and Ricarda Catherine (Kenna) Kuenzig. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Marguerite and the Rosary Altar Society of the church.

Ricarda was the founder of Christmas Wonderland at King Garden Palace and Nursery. She was also formerly employed by PPG, Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. King, Sr.; her brother, Richard Kuenzig; and her sister, Mary Jo Grimm.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond E. King, Jr. and wife Rebecca, of Latrobe, and Ronald E. King and wife Christine, of Greensburg; her daughter, Renee E. King-Cunningham and husband Kevin of Dillsburg; 10 grandchildren, Alyssa, Rayce, Brynna, Nathalie, Adelaide, Steve, Destiny, Kayla, Donna and Raymond; her cousin, Eileen Guay; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 PM Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Benedict Catholic Church, Marguerite.

Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict Catholic Church, 260 Bruno Rd. , Greensburg, PA 15601.
