Josephine M Harris “Grandma Jo”, 95 of Clinton formerly of Hillsboro passed away Wednesday Nov. 21, 2018. She was born on May 29, 1923 in Hillsboro IL to George and Maymie (Chaudoin) Hudelson.

She graduated Hillsboro High School in 1941, and married Charles Harris in 1942. She worked at Candy Kitchen then Wellers Grocery store and Ross Shoe Store in Hillsboro for over 20 years; she also worked at Maymie’s Café. She then started babysitting and loved it most of all.

She is survived by one son Charles (Carol) Harris of Virden and Daughter Jane (Tom) Wiley of Mississippi 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles in 1983, Son Daniel Harris whom she visited every day for 4 ½ years while he was in the nursing home, brothers Clarence, John George Hudelson and Pete Olroyd and one sister Jane Page. She was a member of the Hillsboro Free Methodist Church where she sang and led the congregation in song; she loved playing canasta with friends.

Funeral services will be Monday Nov. 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Randy Sands officiating.

Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorials can be directed to Hillsboro Free Methodist Church.
