Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours in the Werson Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 26th from 9am till 11am. Burial will follow at Mt.

Olivet Cemetery in Newark, NJ. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations to Center for Hope Hospice, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076, in her memory would be appreciated. Josephine was born in Jersey City; she lived in Elizabeth and then Linden for most of her life.

She was a proud high school graduate of Battin High School class of 1934 in Elizabeth, NJ. She lived alone for many years in Linden and was a member of the Fun and Friendship Club. She loved Bingo, card games, shopping with her friends, family gatherings and she was a great cook.

She was a charismatic and joyous woman, who will be remembered with love and caring thoughts. Josephine was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Slimas; her daughter, Patricia Reina; her son John Kuzma; her four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by; her dear children, Anthony Kuzma of Phillipsburg, Walter and Pamela Kuzma of Avenel, Charlene Streko of Clark; her son in law Dr. Tom Streko of Westfield.

Josephine was blessed by fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grand children and two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
