Zita Chirichillo June 27, 1928 – February 05, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Zita Chirichillo, 90, of Linden, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, with her loving family at her side. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation at the Werson Funeral Home, 635 North Wood Avenue, Linden on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM. The funeral begins on Saturday, February 9th, leaving the funeral home at 9:15 AM, for a Funeral Service at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia at 10 AM.

Entombment will follow. Zita was born in Massa Carrara, Italy, lived in Linden the past 51 years, prior Elizabeth, NJ. She was employed as a Machine Operator at Thomas & Betts in Elizabeth for 35 years retiring in 1993.

Zita was a communicant of St. Theresa the Child Jesus Church in Linden, and a member of their Holy Rosary Society. She was very active in representing the town of Linden at the Pulaski Day Parade in New York City, and a past member of the Deutscher Club in Clark. Grandma Zita enjoyed gardening, cooking, dancing, music, and Christmas.

Zita was predeceased by her beloved husband of 32 years, Michael J. Chirichillo, on November 12, 1998. Surviving is her loving son, Mario Dudzinski and his wife Fanny, 3 cherished grandchildren, Lisa, Michael, and April, 2 great grandchildren, Dylan and Sienna, a sister, Martha Cogo, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations to Compassionate Care Hospice, 350 Sparta Avenue, Building B, Suite 2, Sparta, NJ, 07871 in her memory would be appreciated.
